On the basis of the complaint of the petitioner, Garfa Police Station Case No. 133/22 dated June 16, 2022 under Sections 120B/420/406/506 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered. The investigation is under progress. It appears from the police report that the petitioner did not co-operate with the police authorities, whenever the police authorities called the petitioner.

The respondent no.9 also lodged a complaint against the petitioner as a "Zero FIR". Garfa Police Station Case No. "0" dated June 16, 2022 under Sections 384/34 of the Indian Penal Code was initiated against the petitioner. The case has been transferred to Sonarpur Police Station.

The case of the respondent no.9 is that the petitioner had actually cheated the said respondent. However, as investigation has been started on the basis of the complaint of the petitioner and the same is pending, this Court is of the view that the said investigation must be concluded within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order.

The police report is taken on record.

This writ petition is disposed of.

However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
