Basti, 3rd Bye Lane, P.S. Shibpur, Howrah-711 102.

The learned advocate appearing for respondent no.8, however, submits that the present writ petition has been filed as a counterblast to the writ petition (WPA 7205 of 2023) filed by respondent no.8, following which a demolition order was passed against the petitioners concerning unauthorized construction at premises no. 149, G.T. Road South, P.S. Shibpur, Howrah.

The learned advocate for the Howrah Municipal Corporation submits that demolition proceedings have

already been initiated against the petitioners for the unauthorized construction.

In light of the aforementioned facts, there is no need to keep this writ petition pending.

The Howrah Municipal Corporation is hereby directed to consider the representation at page 23 of the writ petition in accordance with the law, providing due opportunity for a hearing to all concerned parties. WPA 11543 of 2023 is disposed of.
