Petitioner is anxious that in spite of Panchasayar Police Station Case No. 25 dated 16.04.2025 pending, she has been receiving threats at the behest of the accused. To that effect, information was furnished but even then the agony continues.

State has submitted a report wherein it reflects the steps taken by the investigating agency. Mr. Shahi, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that he has verbal instructions that the investigation has been concluded and charge sheet has been submitted before the jurisdictional Court. Learned advocate for the private respondent submits that there has been search and seizure and

denies the accusations made on behalf of the petitioner.

Be that as it may, since the petitioner has expressed her anxiety and the police report also reflects that the police authorities are ready and willing to extend their co-operation so far as the agony of the petitioner is concerned, however, the residence of the petitioner happens to be at a different jurisdiction, consequently, I direct the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional court in seisin of the issue under the relevant provisions of the Witness Protection Scheme, 2018. The learned jurisdictional Court will call for a threat perception report and consequently pass a direction if it appears to the Court that necessary protection should be rendered to the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 11425 of 2025 is disposed of.
