The petitioners were nominated as the members of the Managing Committee of Mitna High School (HS) Harishchandrapur, District: Maldah under the category Persons Interested in Education(PIE).

The Commissioner of School Education West Bengal, the respondent no. 2 herein by the order impugned bearing Memo no. 1197/SCH & MC dated October 21, 2022 has nominated two new members under the said PIE category in the Managing Committee by replacing the petitioners.

The nomination did not confer any right to the petitioners to hold the posts permanently in the Managing Committee, therefore, the challenge to the impugned order is misconceived.

WPA 11548 of 2023 is dismissed.

There shall however be no order as to costs.
