Mr. Subir Ganguly ..for the State This is an application for expeditious disposal of proceedings in connection with S.C. 195 of 2026 arising out of Bongaon Police Station Case No.771 of 2022 dated 20.07.2022 under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code.

It appears that the accused has appeared in this case and the learned Sessions Judge in the Court below has fixed July 14, 2026 for charge hearing. It appears that charge sheet in this case was filed on December 29, 2022.

Accordingly, I dispose of this application giving direction upon the learned Sessions Judge to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to the parties.

Consequently, CRR 2181 of 2026 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
