Petitioner prays for anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that another co-accused was granted anticipatory bail by the jurisdictional Court. The prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner was rejected. He submits that the case under the Arms Act was disbelieved by the learned jurisdictional Court. Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. He submits that the petitioner along with other demolished the house belonging to the de facto complainant. He refers to the materials in the case diary and submits that a case, inter alia, under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code stands made out apart from that under the Arms Act.

There are materials in the case diary implicating the

petitioner.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

C.R.M. (A) 2858 of 2022 is dismissed.
