In the matter of : Rishi Sigtia ..... petitioner Ms. Manju Agarwal .....For the petitioner Mr. Rudradipta Nandy ....For the State Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Having heard learned advocates for the petitioner and the State and having considered the fact that the petitioner complied with the notice under Section 41A of the Code of Criminal Procedure and having considered the gravity of offence and the complicity of the petitioner therein, we grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a Bond of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and on further condition that he shall meet the Investigating Officer once in a month until the conclusion of the investigation and on further condition that he shall appear before the jurisdictional court on the dates fixed for trial and pray for regular bail within four weeks from date.

In the event of failure to do so, the bail granted will stand cancelled without any reference to this Court. The application for anticipatory bail being C.R.M. 5013 of 2021 is, thus, disposed of.
