& akb Mr. Arabinda Kundu ...For the Appellant/Insurance Co.

Mr. Muktakesh Das ...For the Respondents / Claimants Learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the National Insurance Company submits that the statutory amount of Rs. 25,000/- has deposited by the Insurance Company with the learned Registrar General of this Hon'ble Court and the same is required to be refunded to the National Insurance Company.

However, upon perusing the order I find that the order was passed on September 08, 2021 with the direction upon the National Insurance Company that the compensation along with the interest is to be paid to the claimants within 45 (forty-five) days. The said compensation has still not been paid to the claimants by the National Insurance Company.

In the light of the same, the National Insurance Company is directed to make the payment to the claimants within three weeks from date.

Once the payment is made, the National Insurance Company may apply to the Registrar General of this Court for refund of Rs.25,000/- upon showing proof of payment to the claimants.

Urgent photostat copy of the order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on priority basis on compliance of all necessary formalities.
