1. All the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties to this revisional application are present.

2. Learned Public Prosecutor of this Court has submitted a report and he has drawn my attention to the statement of de facto complainant recorded by the police attached to Women PS BDNPC. The report submitted by the Learned Public Prosecutor be kept with the record.

3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners as well as opposite party have submitted that they have filed this joint petition registered as CRAN 4 of 2024 with a prayer for quashing of the proceeding as the dispute between the parties has amicably been settled.

4. This case was initiated under Sections 498A/406/307/313/120B/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code

read with Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

5. I have perused the report submitted by the State as well as joint petition, I do not find any reason to stand in the way of compromise between the parties as further proceeding of this case will be an abuse of process of Court.

6. In the aforesaid view of the matter, the proceeding in connection with G.R.

of corresponding to Bidhannagar Women Police Station Case No. 32 of 2020 dated 03.12.2020 under Sections 498A/406/307/313/120B/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act stands quashed.

7. As a sequel the revisional application as well as connected application stands disposed of.

8. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings.
