In the matter of : Sanjit Mahato ..... petitioner Mr. Kashiswar Ghosal ....For the petitioner Mr. Debobrata Chatterjee Ms. Sukanya Bhattacharyya Md. Kutubuddin .....For the State The learned advocate for the petitioner in support of this application for quashing of proceeding being G.R. No. 868/14 under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jhargram, submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case and there is no supporting material to corroborate the case of the prosecution. It appears that the trial before the learned Magistrate in the Court below is going on, and the case is at the evidence stage. At this juncture, I am not inclined to interfere with the proceeding. This revisional application is disposed of with a direction upon the learned Magistrate in the Court below to expedite the trial and conclude the same preferably within a period of one year from the date of the resumption of the normal functioning of the Court. The revisional application being CRR 1549 of 2021, is disposed of.
