A suit for partition was decreed in preliminary form. The Partition Commissioner was appointed by the Court twice and submitted the report for acceptance. The certified copy of the order sheets reveals that on several occasions the matter is adjourned and the report, which was submitted by the Partition Commissioner as far back as on 2nd July 2022, has neither been accepted nor rejected by the Trial Court. A suit for partition filed way back in the year 1999 cannot remain pending eternally.

I, therefore, request the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division) Diamond Harbour to make endeavour to dispose of the said suit as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six months from the date of communication of this order.

With these observations, the revisional application is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. (Harish Tandon, J.)
