He renews his bail prayer. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the bail prayer. He submits trial is in progress. 13 witnesses have already been examined.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses implicate the petitioner in the murder. Trial has commenced. There is some progress in trial since rejection of bail by this court.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.
