Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated due to a land dispute. Four other co-accused persons were granted bail by the jurisdictional Court.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that the petitioners are named in the First Information Report and in the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. He submits that the injuries suffered are grievous in nature.

Considering the materials in the case diary and considering the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 and the nature of injury as well as the complicity of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail being C.R.M. 5033 of 2021 is rejected.
