that there is an outstanding amount of Rs.90,950/-, which is due and payable by the petitioner in terms of an order passed under Section 126 of the Electricity Act, 2003.

On behalf of the petitioner, it is submitted that they are ready and willing to pay the above amount in reasonable installments.

In such circumstances, WPA 11866 of 2026 stands allowed by directing that upon payment of 50 per cent of the above amount as the first installment by 18 June, 2026, the remaining two equal installments would be paid on 1st July, 2026 and 30th July, 2026 respectively. In case of such payment, the CESC Ltd. is directed to restore the electricity connection to the premises of the petitioner after payment of all reconnection charges and any other outstanding dues.

In case of default of any one of the installment, CESC is directed to take necessary steps in accordance with law.

In case, the petitioner choose to pay the entire amount prior to the above dates, the CESC Ltd. would be obliged to restore the electricity connection to the premises of the petitioner within 48 hours.
