Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept with the record.

The petitioner made application for grant of Educational Loan in favour of her minor daughter in terms of the Model Educational Loan Scheme for pursuing higher education on 26th February, 2025. The same is alleged to be kept pending.

Learned advocate representing the Bank submits, upon instruction that, the loan application was never received by the Bank.

It has also been submitted that the petitioner never approached the Bank for remedy prior to filing the instant writ petition.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 8 to treat the document annexed at pages 29 to 31 of the writ petition as the application made by the petitioner for grant of Educational Loan.

A formal application signed by the petitioner along with the supporting documents shall be forwarded to the Bank at the time of communication of this order.

The aforesaid respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the prayer of the petitioner in accordance with the Scheme within the time limit as specified therein.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

9.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
