No. 29 KAUSHIK REJECTED C.R.M.(A) 1987 of 2023 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Haldia Police Station Case No. 50 of 2020 dated 26.06.2020 under Sections 406/420/34 of the Indian Penal Code. And In Re : Sri Nand Kishor Singh ...... petitioner Mr. Sanjib Seth ....for the petitioner Mr. Sudip Ghosh Mr. Koushik Kundu ....for the State Petitioner hired a vehicle for transporting goods from the de-facto complainant, which is yet to be found. Both the vehicle and the goods, which were sought to be transported in such vehicle are yet to be recovered. Apparently, the vehicle in question stands transferred to a different person.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 1987 of 2023 is dismissed.
