In re : CRAN 1 of 2024.
1. The petitioner was granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench by an order dated June 8, 2023, inter alia, on the condition that he shall not leave the jurisdiction of the district of Malda and shall report to the Officer-in-Charge, Gazole Police Station once in a week until further orders.
2. The petitioner says that he has been scrupulously adhering to the conditions of bail. However, witness action has not begun. There is no possibility of an early conclusion of the trial. The aforesaid two conditions of bail be waived.

3. The State files a report from which we do not find anything adverse against the petitioner. He appears to be complying with the conditions of bail.
4. In view of the aforesaid and in view of there being no possibility of an early conclusion of the trial, we are inclined to allow the petitioner's prayer.
5. Accordingly the condition of bail restraining the petitioner from leaving the jurisdiction of the district of Malda and the condition requiring him to report to the Officer-in-Charge, Gazole Police Station once in a week, stand waived. However, he shall continue to report to the Officer-in-Charge, Gazole Police Station once in a month.
6. The other conditions of bail shall remain unaltered.
7. CRAN 1 of 2024 is, accordingly, disposed of.
8. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
