And In Re : Azfarul Sk. alias Asfarul ..... petitioner Mr. Angshuman Chakraborty Mr. Shashanka Sekhar Saha ... for the petitioner Mr. S. S. Imam Mr. S. Kundu ... for the State Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits there was a love affair between the parties. The petitioner has been falsely implicated in the matter.

Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record including statement of the minor victim. Statements, prima facie, implicate the petitioner in committing rape on the minor. In view of the incriminating materials on record and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
