Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an application before the Assistant Engineer, Hooghly Construction, SubDivision No.II, P.W.D., Arambagh, P.O. & P.S. - Arambagh, District - Hooghly way back on 18.04.2024 but till date the representation was not considered by the respondent no.7 being the Assistant Engineer, Hooghly Construction, Sub-Division No.II, P.W.D., Arambagh, P.O. & P.S. - Arambagh, District - Hooghly.

Learned counsel appearing for the State is present. Perused the application and heard the parties at length.

The Assistant Engineer being the respondent no.7 in this application is requested to consider the application of the petitioner dated 18.04.2024 within a period of eight weeks from date after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass a

reasoned order after allowing him to produce necessary documents before the respondent no.7. The respondent no.7 is also requested to communicate the said order to the petitioner at an earliest.

The writ petition being WPA 12441 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
