The writ petitioner seeks compensation from the State for her son being beaten up by the Police. 2.

The Superintendent of Police, Paschim Medinipur has filed a report indicating that the petitioner's son was found to be creating nuisance after consumption of alcohol on 22.04.2022. He had already sustained injuries because of excessive consumption of alcohol.

The petitioner's son was arrested for using abusive language against the police personnel. 4.

In that view of the matter, no relief can be granted to the petitioner.

Report of the Superintendent of Police, Paschim Medinipur dated 26.06.2022 is kept with the record. 6.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
