Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that prosecution before the Hon'ble Apex Court committed that it would examine 8 witnesses but till date no witnesses have been produced before the Court and the trial is still pending. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the evidence of the investigating officer is in progress. Having considered the advance stage of the case and the fact as pointed out by the learned advocate for the State that date has been fixed on 13.07.2026, I direct the learned trial Court that the evidence of the investigating officer to be completed within a month of 13.07.2026.

In view of the aforesaid observations, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (NDPS) 1205 of 2026 is rejected at this stage. Memo of evidence submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
