Although, the petitioner alleges that the respondent nos. 5 to 7 had tortured the petitioner and had tried to cause physical injury even by slow poisoning, no such complaint has been filed before the police station. A demand of justice had been sent by the learned advocate, with certain allegations. The police authorities entered a general diary on the basis of the learned advocate's notice. However, the report does not appear, to have been prepared in a manner, warranted.

The allegations are quite serious.

Under such circumstances, the petitioner is at liberty to approach police with specific allegations.

The same shall be considered and disposed of in accordance with law.

This court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. The contention of the respondent no. 7 is that he had been wrongly described in the cause title of the writ petition. It is submitted that the respondent no. 7 is not a member of the local panchayat. He resides in the same locality as the petitioner.

Accordingly, WPA 10814 of 2022 is disposed of. All parties are to act on the server copy of this order from the official website of this court. (Shampa Sarkar J.)
