Ghosh ..for the State It is submitted by Mr. Sen, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the C.S.T.C. that the grievance of the petitioner shall be met if the Chief Accounts Officer and Financial Advisor of the C.S.T.C. is directed to calculate and assess the entire outstanding dues of the petitioner/society and thereafter disburse the said amount to the bank account of the Calcutta Transport Corporation Employees' Co-operative Credit Society Limited. According to Mr. Sen, some amount is due and payable to the petitioner. Hence, it is ordered that the respondent no. 3 shall assess the amount lying with C.S.T.C and payable to the petitioner/society within two months from date and while doing so, the said authority may call for assistance and clarification

from the representative of the petitioner/society. Upon completion of such calculation/assessment, the amount assessed, shall be transferred to the bank account of the petitioner/society.

The entire dispute must be resolved upon making the payment as assessed, within two months from the date of communication of this order. The Court has not gone into the merits of the claim of the petitioner and the entire issue shall be resolved, as directed hereinabove.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be, however, no order as to costs. Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
