A secured creditor is before the Court complaining that, despite of an order under Section 14 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 being passed by the District Magistrate on March 6, 2017, the police authorities are yet to provide the necessary assistance.

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the State submits on instructions that the police assistance will be rendered immediately.

In such circumstances, upon the bank paying the costs, charges and the expenses for the police assistance, if there be any, the police will extend all facilities to the bank in terms of the order dated March 6, 2017 of the District Magistrate passed under the Act, 2002 within a period of a fortnight from date.

WPA 12317 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly without any order as to costs.
