Ms. Sanjukta Dutta Mr. Kinnor Ghosh ..... for the respondent nos. 11 - 13 Affidavit-of-service, as filed, be kept on record. The subject matter of challenge in the present appeal is an order dated 8th May, 2025 passed by the learned single Judge in the writ petition being WPA 10299 of 2025.

Mr. Chakraborty, learned advocate appearing for the respondent no. 8 in the writ petition/appellant herein submits that the writ petition itself is not maintainable as

in the same, the prayer was for review of an earlier order dated 25th February, 2025 passed in an earlier writ petition being WPA 27274 of 2024.

He further submits that the learned single Judge erred in interfering with an election process which had already started on 28th April, 2025.

Such contention of Mr. Chakraborty has been denied and disputed by the learned advocates appearing for the writ petitioners and the other respondents.

A perusal of the order impugned reveals that the writ petition was made returnable for hearing on 18th June, 2025. Today, we have been informed by the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties that the next date of hearing has been fixed on 30th June, 2025.
