The appellant/petitioner is not represented nor any accommodation has been prayed for on behalf of the appellant/petitioner but we have read the judgment under review and the grounds of review.

In out judgment we have considered all the relevant matters required to be considered in deciding the mandamus appeal. In fact, we relied upon the two decisions of the apex Court and the service conditions. The relevant service rules required the appellant/petitioner to approach the authority to seek permission to remarry while his first wife is still living. This was a relevant condition.

The review petition is, accordingly, dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. (Soumen Sen, J.) (Saugata Bhattacharyya, J.)
