The petitioner is aggrieved as his representation dated 11.04.2024 was not considered by the Inspector-in-Charge, Sonarpur Police Station. The petitioner complains that certain antisocial and miscreants had looted fishes from his pond along with building materials which included 100 bags cement and iron rods also. The petitioner intended to resist them. However, he was threatened with dire consequences, abused and had to succumb to the act and activities of the private respondents.

State has submitted a report which reflects that over the complaint of the petitioner, Sonarpur P.S. Case No.647/2024 dated 08.05.2024 has been

registered for investigation. Since the case was registered at the relevant point of time, the grievance of the petitioner was addressed. If there is further grievance of the petitioner, the petitioner would approach the concerned police station.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 12520 of 2024 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
