Petitioner is aggrieved because as the landlord has been preventing him from installation of C.C.T.V. Camera. There were earlier issues relating to supply of water and electricity. To that effect, presently there is no issue. Now the issue which the petitioner claims is regarding the reading of the electric meter. The reading of the electric meter is done by the CESC Authorities. If CESC Authorities lodges any complaint police authorities will take necessary steps so far as the reading of the electric meter is concerned. So far as the installation of the C.C.T.V. Camera is concerned, I find from the police
report the same has been contended in the report but has not been dealt with and the petitioner has been referred to the civil court for installation of C.C.T.V. Cameras.
In case the petitioner faces any difficulty or resistance at the time of installation of C.C.T.V. Camera and the same is brought to the notice of the police authorities, the police authorities would see that at the relevant point of time no breach of the peace takes place.
So far as the water connection is concerned, if there is an order passed by the civil court, the police authorities would respect and obey such order. If police authorities complain that they are unable to execute, the civil court will pass necessary directions.
With the aforesaid observations WPA 12463 of 2024 along with CAN 1 of 2025 is disposed of. Report so submitted be kept with the record.
Copy of the report be handed over to both the parties.
