Mr. Satadri Lahiri, learned advocate, appears for the petitioner. The petitioner was apprehended in connection with G.R. No. 1343 of 2021, arising out of Swarupnagar P.S. Case No. 337 of 2021 dated March 27, 2021, under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, and under Section 14 of the Foreigners Act, 1946 and under Section 12 Passport Act, 1967.

It has been submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner, that other accused persons including the husband of the petitioner have already been granted bail.

The petitioner is in custody for 136 days.

Mr. Binay Kr. Panda, learned advocate appearing for the State, submits that Voter Identity Card of the petitioner, a copy whereof has been annexed to this application, is genuine.

I am of the opinion that the petitioner should be enlarged on bail.

Accordingly, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only), with one surety of like amount, to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Basirhat.

CRM 5152 of 2021 is allowed.
