The petitioners/accused persons have filed the instant revision praying for a direction upon the learned Additional Sessions Judge, 3rd Court at Paschim Medinipore for expeditious disposal of Criminal Appeal No. 3/2013 at an early date because of the fact that matrimonial appeal being FA/57/2020 is pending before this Court in order to ascertain the fate of the Appeal No. 3/2013 which was filed challenging the order of acquittal of the charge under Sections 498A/406/323 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. The said appeal was filed by the de facto complainant.

Since the appeal is pending for last 10 years and the matrimonial appeal before the Hon'ble High Court cannot be proceeded with without ascertaining the fate of the appeal, the

learned Trial Judge is directed to hear out the argument and dispose of the appeal within one month from the date of communication of the order.

The petitioner is at liberty to act on the server copy of the order.
