And In Re : Kirani Bauri ..... petitioner Mr. Abhra Mukherjee Mr. Sauradeep Dutta .....for the petitioner Mr. Bidyut Kr. Roy Ms. Rita Datta .....for the State It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that she is the mother-in-law of the victim housewife. She has been falsely implicated in the instant case.

Learned lawyer for the State submits that the married house wife committed suicide within three years of marriage leaving behind an one year old child.

We have considered the statement of witnesses, prima facie disclosing involvement of the petitioner in the torture of the housewife over demand of dowry. Soon thereafter, she suffered unnatural death.

In view of the aforesaid facts, we are of the opinion that in view of the gravity of the offence and the prima facie involvement of the petitioner this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to her.

Accordingly, CRM 5041 of 2021 is rejected.
