Dutta, Mr. Rajat Dutta ...For the State It has been submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioners that the University of Calcutta is going to conduct post graduate and under graduate examinations for the academic session of 2021-2022 in terms of the U.G.C. guidelines.

By referring to the paragraph 11 of the petition filed by three petitioners, it is submitted that in no colleges the syllabus for the examination has been completed due to the pandemic situation. Learned advocate for the petitioners submit that suitable orders should be passed directing the University of Calcutta to hold the examination after the completion of the syllabus by its affiliated Colleges and the University.

There are three writ petitioners in this application. Petition does not disclose as to which stream of study the

petitioners belong to or in which College the study. The necessary pleadings to file the petition in a representative capacity are also conspicuously absent.

The petitioners cannot espouse the cause of others by filing this writ application.

In that view of the matter, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition and accordingly, WPA 10849 of 2022 is dismissed.

Let urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all necessary formalities.
