None appears on behalf of either of the parties. No accommodation is sought for. Even on earlier occasion, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner.

This case is pending since 2016. Almost 9 years have already been passed.

The instant revisional application has been filed under Section 401 read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure challenging the impugned order dated 19.04.2016 passed by the learned Executive Magistrate, Diamond Harbour, 24 Parganas (South) passed in M. F. Case No. 795 of 2016 under Section 144(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

By the said order the learned Magistrate directed the O.C., Raidighi Police Station and the Block Land &Land Reforms Officer M/Pur-II to cause an enquiry and submit a report by 28.06.2016 and also directed the O.C., Raidighi Police Station to maintain peace so that no change of natural character occurs due to either of the parties till the report is submitted. Hence, this Revisional application. 5.

Considering the nature of prayer and long pendency of this case, this Court prefers to decide this case on merit on the basis of materials available on record.

The impugned order passed on 19.04.2016 under Section 144(2) of the Cr. P. C. shall remain in force for 2 months from making thereof as per the provision under Section 144(4) of the CrPC. The said period has already expired.

In view of the facts, this revisional application has no merit.

Hence, the instant revisional application being CRR 1599 of 2016 is dismissed. Consequently, connected pending application, if any, is also dismissed. 9.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
