Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the police authorities no steps have been taken by the concerned police station.

However, Mr.

Sengupta, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that Alipore Police Station case no. 69 dated 22.05.2025 was registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of law. In view of the investigation having commenced, I direct the investigating officer to put in efforts so that the investigation can be carried out effectively and taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. With the aforesaid observations WPA 11495 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.
