Petitioners complain that the second running account cum final bill of the petitioners is yet to be paid by the Howrah Municipal Corporation.

Howrah Municipal Corporation is represented.

It appears that the petitioners made a representation dated August 12, 2020 for payment of the second running account cum final bill dated December 28, 2018.

In the facts of the present case, it should be appropriate to direct the respondent no.4 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioners dated August 12, 2020 in accordance with law. The respondent no.4 will afford the petitioners an opportunity of hearing. The respondent no.4 is at liberty to hear such other parties and consult such documents which he deems fit and proper. He will pass a reasoned order which he will communicate to the parties he heard forthwith thereafter. It is expected that the entire exercise is completed within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of

this order to him.

WPA 12420 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly without any order as to costs.
