The Corporation submits that the building should be demolished by the petitioner himself in the presence of a structural engineer under the supervision of Howrah Municipal Corporation.

The petitioner has no objection to the stance of the Corporation and he wants to engage Mr. Sujay De, a chartered engineer and under whose supervision, the demolition work is to be carried out. In the aforesaid facts, I direct the petitioner to undertake the demolition work giving due notice to the Corporation. The Corporation should monitor this demolition work.

With these directions, WPA 12496 of 2024 is disposed of.
