1. Affidavit of service filed today be kept on record.

2. The writ petitioner, the respondent/ State and respondent/ Union of India are represented by their respective counsel.

3. At the time of hearing, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner draws the attention of this Court to page nos. 26 and 27 of the instant writ petition being a print out of the twitter.

4. It is submitted, that from page no. 27 of the instant writ petition, it would be revealed that the

writ petitioner has received a threat from an unknown person in relation to his life.

5. It is further submitted that soon thereafter, the writ petitioner made numerous representations with the respondent authorities for giving him adequate protection for his life and property but the respondent authorities did nothing and practically remained mum. It is thus submitted that appropriate relief may be granted to the writ petitioner in terms of the prayers made in the instant writ petition.

6. In course of their submissions, Mr. Majumdar, learned AAG appearing for the State and Mr.

Chakraborty, learned advocate appearing for the Union of India in their usual fairness submits before this Court that the respondent no. 7/ authority may be directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner in accordance with law and to take appropriate steps in the event the said authority finds sufficient justification in the representation of the writ petitioner.

7. In view of such, while disposing of the writ petition, this Court permits the writ petitioner to submit a comprehensive representation afresh with the respondent no. 7/ authority along with the server copy of this order.

8. On receipt on such representation together with the server copy of this order, the respondent no. 7/ authority shall consider the security aspect of the writ petitioner in relation to his life and property and shall take appropriate steps by passing a reasoned order which shall have to be communicated to the writ petitioner forthwith.

9. The entire exercise is to be completed by the respondent no. 7/ authority within 30 working days from the date of communication of the server copy of this order together with a fresh comprehensive representation.

10. It is however, made clear that while disposing of the instant writ petition, this Court has not entered into the merits of the instant writ petition and accordingly, all the points are kept open for adjudication by the respondent no. 7/ authority.

11. With the aforementioned observations, WPA 11919 of 2026 is disposed of.

12. There will be no order as to costs.

13. Photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties on compliance of due formalities.
