An affidavit has been filed on behalf of the alleged contemnor wherefrom it appears that a hearing was called by the Pradhan on 4th April, 2022 when the petitioner as well as private respondents were present. A resolution was adopted and signed on the same date that the construction made by the private respondents was without any approval of a plan from the Panchayat. The construction so made was held to be illegal and unauthorized.

Copy of the affidavit has been served upon the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner in Court today.

As it appears that the resolution has been adopted on 4th April, holding that the construction made by the private respondents is illegal and unauthorized, accordingly, the contemnor that is the Pradhan of the Panchayat is directed to take all

necessary consequential steps in the matter strictly in accordance with law.

The contempt application stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
