The grievance of the petitioner is directed against non-payment of compensation along with interest in respect of Compensation Case no. 65A/NH/10-11. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that notwithstanding an order passed by the competent Civil Court, the respondent authorities are withholding payment of compensation to the petitioner.

Mr. Susovan Sengupta appears for the State respondents and fairly submits that the representation of the petitioner made to the respondent nos. 3 and 4 dated 2nd December, 2020 appearing at page 47 of the petition (Annexure P/6) be considered and disposed of in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from date after giving a right of hearing to all the affected parties.

It is made clear that I have not gone into the merits of the case and the respondent nos. 2 and 3 are directed to act strictly in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid directions, WPA 12275 of 2021 is disposed off.

It is also made clear that the aforesaid time frame is peremptory in nature and the respondent nos. 2 and 3 are directed to act positively within the stipulated time period.
