The submission of learned counsel for the State is that with the lapse of time nothing survives in the present petition.

Having examined the record, we find that this petition was filed by the petitioner alleging discrepancy in grant of monetary allotment to the Dhuturdaha Gram Panchayet of which the petitioner was elected as member in the year 2013. Thereafter, much time has lapsed and it is not clear if the grievance of the petitioner is still survives.

Learned counsel for the State has also pointed out that the term of the petitioner as the member of the panchayet is also over and fresh election has taken place. In this view of the matter, we do not find any justification to keep the petition pending.

Hence, the writ petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to file an appropriate representation before

the respondent no.2 if the grievance of the petitioner is still survives.

On receipt of such representation the respondent no.2 will duly look into the grievance of the petitioner and take appropriate decision in accordance with law expeditiously.
