Mr. Imbrahim Shaikh Mr.Benazir Shaikh ... for the petitioners The allegation of the writ petitioners is that during the pendency of the proceedings being O.A. 2305 of 2021 before the West Bengal Land Reforms & Tenancy Tribunal, Second Bench, some persons from the office of the Block Land & Land Reforms Officer were encroaching the lands of the petitioners, treating the same to be vested. The petitioners pray for police protection and necessary orders injuncting the authorities of the Block Land & Land Reforms Office from disturbing the peaceful possession of the petitioners.

As the matter is sub-judice, this Court is of the view that the prayer cannot be entertained. The remedy of the petitioners would be before the learned Tribunal for necessary protective and interlocutory orders, pending disposal of the proceedings.

This writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
