An inadvertent error crept into the order passed on 22nd July, 2024. In the cause title of the said order the names of Mr. Debasish Roy, Mr. Kaushik Kundu & Mr. Atanu Ghosh be recorded as learned counsels appearing for the State. The Department is directed to incorporate the necessary correction in the said order accordingly. This order be treated as part of the order dated 22nd July, 2024. Report submitted by the State is taken on record. It appears that the private opposite party/de facto complainant is not willing to proceed with the matter any further in view of amicable settlement arrived at by and between the petitioner and herself.

In view of the above, proceeding with the case any further shall only be a futile exercise.

The revisional application being CRR 1840 of 2024 is allowed.

The proceeding being GR (NS) 1005 of 2022 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 20th Court, Calcutta is quashed.

CRAN 1 of 2024 is accordingly disposed of.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
