Subsequent thereto, provisions of Section 8 of the POCSO Act was added.

Addition of such Section does not affect the ground on which the anticipatory bail was granted.

The ground for grant of anticipatory bail stands good even after addition of Section 8 of the POCSO Act. In such circumstances, the petitioner is at liberty to correct the cause title in the petition for anticipatory bail. The department will incorporate the necessary corrections in the order dated June 21, 2022. CRAN 1 of 2022 is disposed of accordingly.
