...... petitioner Mr. Shibaji Kumar Das, Ms. Rupsa Sreemani ....for the petitioner Mr. Avishek Sinha ....for the State Materials in the case diary suggests that there are call details recording of conversation between the petitioner and the person arrested in the charges in respect of kidnapping and demanding ransom. There is a statement recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code which implicates the present petitioner also in the offences under investigation. Considering the gravity of the offence and involvement of the petitioner in the incident as transpiring from the materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

CRM (A) 2004 of 2023 is rejected.
