Heard the learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record.

Allegations involve recovery of 150 bottles of phensedyl syrup from petitioner.

Hence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner on merits.

On the score of delay, we note trial has commenced and one witness has been examined. Prosecution assures to conclude the trial within fifteen months from the next date fixed for recording evidence subject to co-operation by defence and systemic delays.

In the light of the aforesaid, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner on the ground of delay at present. 6.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Trial is requested to expedite the trial in the light of the assurance given by the prosecution and conclude the same at an early date.
