The affidavit-of-compliance filed today be kept on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the cable, whereby electricity connection has been given to the petitioner pursuant to the order of this Court, has a precarious joint, which may create safety hazards and thus, is not in proper compliance of the Court's order.

Learned counsel for the alleged contemnor submits that the joining of the cables is necessary since several bundles of cables are used and if one cable is exhausted mid-way, another is to be attached to complete the line by joining the two.

It transpires from the photographs annexed to the affidavit-of-compliance filed today that there has been sufficient compliance of the order of this Court, since electricity connection has been given to the petitioner. 5.

However, the alleged contemnor shall ensure that the connection-in-question is kept in safe and secure condition at all points of time, which is the liability of the distribution licensee.

However, we do not find any further reason to keep the contempt application pending.

Accordingly, in the light of the above observations, CPAN 1974 of 2024 is disposed of as infructuous.

There will be no order as to costs.
