1. The petitioners are aggrieved by certain steps taken by the Authorised Officer, Piramal Capital & Housing Finance Limited, the respondent no. 1 herein.

2. It appears that the respondent no. 1 does not qualify as 'State' under Article 12 of the Constitution of India and the writ petition against the aforesaid respondent will not be maintainable.

3. The writ petition, accordingly, fails and is hereby dismissed.

4. Dismissal of the writ petition will, however, not stand in the way of the petitioners to approach the competent forum in accordance with law for redressal of their grievances, if so advised.

5. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
