Nobody appears on behalf of the respondents.

This matter has been filed by 14 petitioners who are all staff of the said institution having common cause of action. The pleadings in the writ application will be considered as representation by the petitioners. I have heard the petitioners as to the approval of the school for physically handicapped students. Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that in similar matters, by order of this court, approval was granted after much effort.

I direct the respondent no.3 i.e. the Director of Mass Education Extension West Bengal, Kolkata to give an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners or their representative within a period of four weeks from the

date of communication of this order and to pass a reasoned order by one week thereafter. The petitioners are granted liberty to show the orders passed by this court in similar matters before the respondent no.3 at the time of hearing.

With this observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of as allowed.
