Petitioner approached this Court being aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the police authorities particularly as no steps were taken pursuant to the anticipatory bail of the accused persons having been rejected. Further, a prayer was advanced for production of CCTV footage of Galsi Police Station and additional prayer as to why the provisions of POCSO Act has not been added.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that police authorities have taken steps, the case has already been sent to the special court and on conclusion of investigation charge-sheet has been submitted before the jurisdictional court.

Having considered the steps taken by the police authorities, I am of the view that no interference can be made by this Court at this stage.

Petitioner, if she is aggrieved by any part of the investigation, would advance necessary prayers before the learned special court in seisin of the issue. However, the police authorities would keep a strict vigil and ensure that since the offence now is under the provisions of POCSO Act, the guidelines and the rules framed therein will follow.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 11549 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
