Despite service of notice, the respondents are not represented.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that by an order dated 9th March passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in WPA 2382 of 2021 higher pay scale was directed to be given to the writ petitioner with effect from 23rd October 2011.

It is submitted that the last date of the postgraduate examination is 26th May 2012.

In that view of the matter, it is directed that the petitioner shall be entitled to higher scale of pay with effect from 27th May 2012 and not from 23rd October 2011.

The concerned District Inspector of Schools (SE) shall take immediate steps to grant the benefit of higher pay scale to the writ petitioner. All arrears shall be released to the writ petitioner

within a period of four months from date. The service records of the writ petitioner shall be amended accordingly forthwith.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
